The episode begins with Haniya telling Aasma that she has misunderstood the situation. Meher interjects, saying there is no misunderstanding and that Mamma orchestrated this, calling them over to push her into this marriage. Sukhi asks Meher to stop the drama.
Meher insists that her mother used the project meeting as an excuse to arrange her alliance with this terrible family. Leo drunkenly whispers that Meher is feeling the effects of his drink. Munni points out that he had been drinking. Meher then criticizes Leo’s family, calling them uneducated and uncultured, and accuses his drunkard brother of looting people for money. Leo explains that he only asked because she broke his bottle. Meher retorts that they should have considered their status before coming here.
Sarab says he’s holding back out of respect for the elders, but warns he knows how to respond. He dramatically claims someone will die before marrying her, to which Meher retorts someone will die just thinking about marrying him. He asks Munni if they invited them, and Munni explains that Aasma came and invited them for the alliance. Meher mocks the idea that she would ever agree and stand at the gate with a garland. She insinuates that his whole family must be drunkards to dream of marrying her.
Aasma tells Meher to stop. Sarab, defending his family, declares he won’t tolerate any insults. Munni explains that they drink to forget their sorrows, but promises that they will stop. Neetu skeptically notes that their sorrows will remain. Meher tells them to leave, and Sarab agrees they won’t stay any longer.
Simmy asks Haniya why Sarab isn’t confessing his love for her and comments on Meher’s rudeness. Haniya defends Meher, asking Simmy not to speak against her.
Neetu notices Munni wearing her necklace and confronts her. Munni asks if Neetu is going to insult them as well. Neetu demands to know where the necklace came from. Munni remembers stealing it. Neetu accuses her, saying the necklace has been missing since she attended a kitty party at Munni’s house. Meher seizes the moment to claim that the family Aasma wanted her to marry into are thieves. Sarab protests, defending his mother.
Munni explains that she found the necklace under the table and wore it to return it. She apologizes and insists they are not thieves, highlighting her son’s hard work to support them. She says her son has done so much for them and that God is watching everything. Haniya apologizes on their behalf. Neetu, remorseful, apologizes for accusing and insulting them.
Sarab and his family leave. Sukhi scolds Meher for her rudeness and for humiliating their guests. Aasma asks Meher what happened. Meher angrily replies that she hates Sarab and will never marry him. Aasma, trying to reason with her, asks if she needs a reminder of all Sarab has done for them.
Meher sarcastically tells her to give him a trophy and hang it around her neck because she can’t stand him. Aasma counters that Sarab can handle her and is the right match. Meher dismisses her and suggests arranging Haniya’s marriage instead, revealing that she loves someone else. Just then, an employee enters, and Meher points to him, claiming Haniya loves this guy. Haniya is shocked and denies it, but leaves with the employee.
Feeling dejected, Aasma confides in Armaan, saying she has failed as a mother. Haniya reassures her, praising her for raising them alone and being their inspiration. Aasma asks if Haniya loves the employee, but Haniya denies it, explaining that Meher set her up to avoid marriage.
She is about to reveal something about Sarabjeet when Meher interrupts and asks Aasma to sign some documents. Meher tells Aasma to have Haniya hire Sarab on her farm, but not to send him to her office. After Meher leaves, Aasma resolves to get Meher married to Sarab anyway.
Simmy advises Haniya to talk to Meher about her feelings. Haniya approaches Meher and asks what she will do if Aasma pressures her. Meher insists she will never marry Sarab. Meanwhile, Munni tells Sarab that Aasma insulted them by bringing the marriage proposal. Sarab asks Munni to swear she will never ask him to marry Meher Gill again. Munni is taken aback. Simmy remarks that Meher isn’t interested in Sarab, and Haniya regrets not standing up for herself.
