Kavya and Kinjal worry about Anupama’s whereabouts. Kavya remarks that even Devika doesn’t know where Anupama is. Kinjal expresses hope that Anupama and Anuj will reconcile. Meanwhile, Babu ji prays fervently for everything to be resolved.
Later, Anuj finds Anupama and shields her with an umbrella as it rains. The song “Aaya tere dar pe deewana” plays as they seek shelter in a beautiful glass house in the garden. Anuj speaks from his heart, saying that some believe the past can’t return, but true love’s strength defies such notions. He reflects on how despite their separation, their lives have always seemed to converge toward the same destiny.
Anuj acknowledges the pain of their separation and how he tried to move on with Shruti for Aadhya’s sake, despite only ever loving Anupama. He reveals that Shruti understood his feelings and respected his unending love for Anupama. Anuj explains how fate seemed to conspire to bring them together again, despite their efforts to move on separately.
He professes his unwavering love for Anupama, recounting how every moment of his life has been marked by her presence, even when they were apart. Anuj declares that he cannot hide his love, not from Shruti, Aadhya, nor Anupama herself. He confronts the truth that even though circumstances pulled them apart, his heart has always belonged to her.
Anupama, overwhelmed by Anuj’s heartfelt confession, steps back in disbelief. Anuj, undeterred, kneels before her and declares his love, urging her not to let their five years of separation overshadow their lifetime together. He implores her to admit her feelings for him, unwilling to let her go again.
Anupama, caught in a whirlwind of emotions, pushes Anuj away and runs off. Anuj, hopeful yet uncertain, believes that if she truly loves him as he loves her, she will turn back. As Anupama hesitates, moved by the intensity of his love, a poignant song or qawwali plays in the background. Finally, Anupama turns to face Anuj, tears streaming down her cheeks, as Anuj smiles through his own tears of joy.
Anupama arrived home, embracing Devika tightly. Concerned, Devika queried, “Where were you? Everyone was searching for you.” Anupama’s voice cracked with emotion as she confessed, “Mr. Shah was right. I’ve shattered Shruti and Anuj’s alliance.” Devika reassured her, “You haven’t done anything wrong.”
Tears welled up in Anupama’s eyes. “I tried so hard to stay away from Anuj, to convince my heart otherwise, but somehow I ended up coming between them unintentionally. Maybe I gave Anuj false hope,” she lamented. Devika pressed, “Did you ask Shruti to involve a food critic to ruin their lives? Why are you blaming yourself?” Anupama sighed heavily, burdened by guilt.
“Anuj and Shruti were just friends,” Devika asserted. Anupama disagreed, “Anuj would have loved Shruti after marriage.” Devika countered gently, “Shruti’s decision to break up was her own mistake. She knew Anuj only loved you, yet she pursued a fragile relationship with him. Perhaps it’s for the best they didn’t marry.”
Anupama shook her head sadly. “I’ve made a mistake,” she murmured. Devika suggested firmly, “Pack your bags, Anupama. You’re going on a guilt trip.” Anupama was taken aback, “A trip?”
Devika clarified, “You need to stop punishing yourself. Anuj can make his own choices. Why are you so concerned?” Anupama admitted, “Because I care.” Devika proposed, “Then marry Anuj.” Anupama protested, “No, how can I break his promise to Shruti? I’ll talk to him.” As she turned, her eyes met Shruti’s, who stood quietly nearby.
Meanwhile, Anuj walked along the road, lost in thought about his recent breakup with Shruti. Elsewhere, Shruti packed her belongings hurriedly, preparing to leave.
In another conversation, Vanraj criticized Anupama, likening her to a termite in Anuj and Shruti’s lives. Kavya chided him, urging him to focus on his responsibilities instead of disrupting others’ lives. As Vanraj received a call, ominous plans for the next day were discussed.
Shruti apologized to Anupama for intruding, expressing regret for hurting her and causing her pain. “I’ll talk to Anuj,” Anupama assured her. “I’ll make him understand. He can’t do this to you after you’ve given him four years of your life.” Shruti apologized again, addressing Anupama respectfully as “Joshi behen.”
