Shruti tells Anupama that she should have addressed this earlier, as these discussions are now pointless. She says that if she marries AK, three people will be unhappy, and it’s better for one to step back so the other two can be happy. She admits defeat and decides to step back.
She tells Anupama that true love is rare, but she has found it, so she shouldn’t let it go. She assures Anupama that no one can take her place in AK’s life. Aadhya starts crying, and Shruti hugs her, calling her “my baby.
” She asks Aadhya to act maturely and acknowledges that Aadhya has many complaints about her mother, but reminds her that her parents have sacrificed a lot for her. She points out that not everyone gets a mother’s love, mentioning that her own mother is dead, and urges Aadhya to reconcile with Anupama.
Shruti tells Anuj and Anupama to come together and become a couple, saying that since they can’t stay apart, they shouldn’t try to. She emphasizes that she’s not speaking out of anger and promises to perform the ghatbandhan at their wedding.
She apologizes for her actions, asking for forgiveness from Dimpy, Tapish, Baa, and Babu ji. She admits that love can make people act out of jealousy and anger but insists that she’s not a bad person. She urges Anuj and Anupama to unite before she changes her mind, then leaves. Anuj and Aadhya also leave.
Vanraj then tells Anupama that she used to call Kavya a homewrecker, but she has outdone Kavya by breaking up a home before marriage. He pities Mr. Dhillion for gaining nothing from this situation. He accuses Anupama and Anuj of conspiring together and shaming her for romancing Anuj under the guise of caring for Aadhya.
He predicts that Anupama will never be happy with Anuj and will suffer from Shruti’s curse just as he and Kavya have suffered from Anupama’s curse. Anupama is deeply hurt and runs away, questioning why she’s always blamed for others’ mistakes and pleading with Kanha ji not to break Aadhya’s home.
Baa comments on the drama occurring the day before the wedding. Everyone discusses Shruti’s actions, and Vanraj blames Anupama. Toshu suggests that Anuj and Anupama planned everything, and Vanraj agrees, noting that Anuj didn’t bring Shruti there.
Kavya questions Shruti’s actions, and Vanraj blames Anupama for forcing Shruti’s hand. Pakhi expresses her doubts about Anupama’s intentions. Titu agrees that Shruti’s actions were wrong, leading to the wedding being called off. He promises to attend the wedding the next day, and Vanraj eagerly awaits. Babu ji tells Baa that they will leave after the wedding.
Anuj asks Shruti to open the door. Aadhya arrives and accuses Anupama of intentionally letting Anuj overhear something. Anuj warns Aadhya not to provoke him. Aadhya argues that Anupama’s frequent meetings with Anuj made Shruti insecure, suggesting that Anuj contributed to this insecurity. Anuj tells Aadhya not to defend Shruti and to stay out of it. Aadhya questions if Anuj still intends to marry Shruti. Anuj instructs her to return to her room.
Dimpy inquires about Mummy’s whereabouts, and Kinjal responds that she has left. Dimpy comments that Shruti was right about them needing to unite. Kavya joins in, stating that Anuj’s first love is Anupama and Anupama’s last love is Anuj, and they should be together. Meanwhile, Anupama is on the road, reflecting on Aadhya and Vanraj’s words.
Beeji asks Yashdeep if he is thinking about Anu and Anuj, noting that they’ve always known about their love for each other. Yashdeep admits feeling pain, as his love was one-sided, but wonders why Anu and Anuj are living separately when their love is mutual. Beeji asks if he truly wants them to be together. Yashdeep expresses his desire for Anupama’s happiness, which he believes lies with Anuj. Beeji agrees and promises to pray for them.
Shruti opens the door, allowing Anuj inside. She offers him coffee and apologizes, acknowledging her mistakes without trying to manipulate him. Anuj apologizes for losing his temper, remarking that it’s Titu and Dimpy’s time. He asks if Shruti has taken her medicine. Shruti admits she was trying to take Anupama’s place and realizes that she cannot.
She urges Anuj to reunite with Anupama, assuring him that they will always be friends. She releases him from any feelings of guilt, stating that she won’t be hurt if he decides to marry Anupama. Anuj advises her to rest, noting that tomorrow will be a significant day. Shruti pleads for him not to hate her and encourages him to live for himself, suggesting he and Anupama should become Maan again.
Anupama cries out, questioning how she came between Anuj and Shruti. Shruti sends Anuj out of her room and closes the door. Anupama weeps.
