Dimpy inquires about why unfortunate events seem to befall Mummy, while Kavya empathizes with Anupama’s plight, expressing concern over her hardships. During a video call with Kinjal, Dimpy seeks information about Mummy’s whereabouts, to which Kinjal and Anuj are clueless.
Kavya sympathetically wonders if Toshu is responsible, prompting Kinjal to speculate. Kavya advises Kinjal to urge Toshu not to disclose anything to Vanraj. Kinjal, feeling powerless, urges secrecy from Baa and Babu ji. Kavya reassures they’ll manage the situation.
Meanwhile, Anuj discovers Anupama asleep on a bench. Shruti, frustrated by Anuj’s faith in Anupama, makes a secretive call and vows to intervene. Anuj, determined to resolve legal matters regarding their business partnership, gently persuades Anupama to return home. Shruti plans to leave before Anuj’s return but is surprised to find him bringing Anupama back. She hastily excuses herself, claiming to meet a friend, leaving Anuj to care for Anupama.
The news of Anupama spreads like wildfire, making its way into newspapers and shocking everyone who comes across it. Toshu takes on the responsibility of fielding calls from concerned individuals and reluctantly admits to Anupama’s mistake.
He then confides in Vanraj about Anupama’s actions. Meanwhile, Kinjal attempts to clarify the misunderstanding to those affected. However, Vanraj wastes no time in tarnishing Anupama’s reputation, while Babu ji staunchly defends her innocence.
Aadhya switches on the TV only to witness a reporter condemning Anupama, stating that the Indian community is boycotting her for bringing disgrace to the country, suggesting she should be expelled from America. Just then, Anuj arrives, and Vanraj, using Babu ji’s phone, cruelly berates Anupama, further breaking her spirit, and forbids her from attending the upcoming marriage ceremony, declaring that she has hit rock bottom.
Crushed, Anupama denies any wrongdoing, sinking into despair. Anuj attempts to console her, expressing his surprise at how quickly the news spread. Seeking solace, Anupama retreats to her room and locks herself in, while Anuj turns to Shruti for assistance in gaining access.
Titu pays a visit to Vanraj’s residence, where Vanraj proudly announces to Baa and Babu ji that Anupama has disgraced them, congratulating them on the public humiliation. Kavya defends Anupama’s innocence, only to face Vanraj’s wrath, who scolds Dimpy and Kavya, warning them against emulating Anupama’s behavior. He declares that Anupama is no longer a part of their lives, severing all ties with her.
Anupama gazes at the photograph, her mind preoccupied with the recent events. Aadhya confronts Anuj, questioning the persistence of calling her “Anu Anu.” She informs him about the complaint lodged with the health department, now gone viral. Anuj expresses bewilderment at Ms. Smith’s unsubstantiated accusation.
Aadhya advocates for ejecting such individuals from their midst, citing the distress they cause, especially concerning Anupama’s schooling. Anuj reassures her, vowing to resolve the misunderstanding and defends Anupama’s innocence. However, his assurance is interrupted by a call from Kukreja, reporting a health department raid on Spice and Chutney, intending to shut it down. Anuj, incredulous, urges Kukreja to intervene and rushes to the scene. Anupama overhears and rushes out of the house, propelled by concern.
Shruti, possibly the complainant, anticipates the closure of Spice and Chutney as a means to rid themselves of Anupama. Aadhya, on the other hand, finds solace in the fact that a food critic initiated the complaint.
Meanwhile, Dimpy and Kavya speculate that Toshu orchestrated the ordeal, citing his vengeful nature, though Pakhi interjects, mentioning his fear of cockroaches. Vanraj defends Toshu, rejecting Kavya’s insinuations and asserting Anupama’s innocence. Elsewhere, Yashdeep sits in despair amidst the chaos of the raid. Anupama arrives on the scene, witnessing the health department officials disrupting the operations of Spice and Chutney, with Vikram, KD, and others attempting to thwart their efforts. Outside, a crowd gathers, voicing their grievances against her with resounding slogans.
