Anupama is about to question Shruti when Shruti starts feigning pain in her stitches. Everyone gets worried. Aadhya shouts, “Shru!” Kinjal asks, “What happened?” Shruti says, “I am feeling pain; I think it’s my stitches.” Baa says she will make some kada. Shruti refuses to drink it.
Baa reminds her that she has medicines. Babuji asks Anuj to take her to the hospital. Anuj mentions the doctor had said she might experience pain due to exertion and asks Shruti to come along. Aadhya offers to bring her bag. Anupama advises Shruti to take care of herself. Shruti looks at her, and Anuj notices their interaction again. After they leave, Vanraj asks what’s going on between the two women.
Anupama tells him to stay out of it. Vanraj claims she’s dealing with an expert. She replies that she doesn’t need one, as the truth will eventually come out. Vanraj retorts that’s why she sent her friend after him. Anupama declares she must find out what he’s planning for the wedding.
Shruti worries that Anupama might tell AK everything. Anupama calls Shruti, saying her acting was unnecessary. She warns that she won’t ruin her daughter’s wedding to expose Shruti and won’t trouble her family, but won’t spare outsiders. She says she can’t label Shruti a criminal like Rahul and Gulati and that karma will deal with her.
Anupama tells her to attend the wedding and ends the call. Shruti fumes, questioning Anupama’s audacity. Anuj enters and asks what happened. Shruti lies, saying Ms. Smith called. Anuj asks if there’s a problem between her and Anupama. Shruti denies it but thinks she needs to act soon.
Baa talks about the Mameru Rasam. Pakhi jokes if they’ll buy Mama from the internet. Anupama explains that Mama will come to perform the rasam. Later, she dances in, announcing Bhavesh will perform the rasam. Dimpy is happy. Vanraj grumbles that one Joshi was enough. Anupama counters that two Joshis will double the fun. Bhavesh mentions he took half a day off to be there. Everyone dances. Vanraj reassures himself that everything will be fine.
Kavya and Anupama are playing when Kavya accidentally lets go of Anupama’s hand, causing her to fall into Anuj’s arms, upsetting Shruti and Aadhya. Vanraj remarks he’s reminded of an old song but can’t sing due to his throat. Kavya apologizes for her hand slipping. Anuj says it’s okay. Vanraj comments that Anupama often comes between Anuj and Shruti. Aadhya gets upset. Devika asks Shruti if she’s okay, and Shruti says she feels better.
Anuj approaches Anupama, puzzled about their frequent encounters. Anupama shifts the topic to the rasam. Anuj brings up Dimpy and Titu’s wedding, expressing his fondness for Dimpy and regret over not bringing anything. He gives Anupama an envelope to give to Dimpy, explaining that Dimpy wouldn’t accept it from him.
Anupama assures him it’s not his fault for what happened with Samar and says everyone, including Dimpy, is moving on. She takes the envelope to give as shagun from Anuj and apologizes, thinking he wanted to discuss something else. Anuj admits he tries not to talk about it, but it weighs on him. Anupama then mentions she wants to talk about spices and chutney.
Shruti thinks she is going to reveal something. She approaches and asks what they are discussing. Anupama responds, “We are not talking about what you think.” She then thanks Anuj for helping KD, Updesh, and others.
Anuj says, “I didn’t want them to tell you, but they did.” She invites him to come for the rasam. Baa mentions that Bhavesh has brought all the necessary items. Anupama hands over an envelope and says it’s from Anuj. Dimpy protests, saying it’s not needed.
Anuj reassures her, “You were my daughter before Aadhya.” Aadhya feels upset. Anuj instructs Titu to take care of Dimpy, and Titu promises to do so. Vanraj complains about having a sore throat. Anupama and Devika pray for protection from evil eyes. Shruti wonders who will protect her from Anupama’s gaze.
Yashdeep tries to assist Anupama, who instructs him to do it properly and place it there. Yashdeep agrees, saying, “I will.” He mentions that once the wedding is over, they will return to America and asks about her plans. Anupama explains she needs to complete some formalities at Maa’s house.
Yashdeep offers to handle Gulati and hopes that Mr. Kapadia will assist, though he worries that customers might not come even after the restaurant opens. Anupama suggests that Ms. Smith might reveal who influenced her actions. Yashdeep hints that he knows whom she is protecting. Anuj, overhearing, is taken away by Aadhya for ice cream. Yashdeep confides to Anupama that he saw Shruti with Ms. Smith the previous day and became certain after a truth and dare game.
Anuj decides to order ice cream while Aadhya serves it. Yashdeep reveals that Shruti provoked Ms. Smith out of insecurity. Anupama acknowledges the past but focuses on regaining their old respect. Anuj, listening in, is interrupted by Aadhya.
Yashdeep expresses concern that Shruti might harm Mr. Kapadia and Aadhya. Anupama insists they should not interfere in their relationship and asks Yashdeep to keep it confidential. Yashdeep agrees. Anuj, suspecting they are discussing Shruti, prepares to leave.
Yashdeep questions Anupama if Shruti should be punished for her misdeeds, emphasizing the suffering and ruin she caused. Anupama fears that punishing Shruti would also hurt Anuj and Aadhya, which she wants to avoid. Anuj, hearing this, is shocked and reveals himself to Anupama, who is equally stunned.
