Anupama tells Devika and Bhavesh that her only fear is aging, and this fear keeps growing. Devika and Bhavesh discuss the struggles elderly people face. Devika points out that it’s hard to truly understand what they go through when their vision and hearing start to fail. Anupama reflects on how Baa and Babuji have often felt like burdens, despite doing more work than she ever could.
She mentions that Baa runs the kitchen and Babuji helps with everything, from buying vegetables to preparing meals. She adds that they have to endure so much, and recalls an incident where Pakhi was sleeping, leading to her scolding Babuji.
Bhavesh comments that Vanraj has always respected his parents, yet he said something that deeply hurt them. Anupama notes the irony of elderly people carrying burdens but being labeled as burdens themselves.
Vanraj remembers Pakhi humiliating Babuji. Kavya consoles him, saying he was caught between two difficult sides. Vanraj admits he was unsure how to react as Pakhi was being disrespectful to Babuji, and he couldn’t intervene as his daughter was in danger.
Kavya suggests that he missed seeing why the incident happened. She remarks that Pakhi doesn’t care for Ishu, and things could have been worse if she and Dimpy hadn’t taken care of Ishu. Kavya explains that Babuji went to wake Pakhi, but she didn’t respond.
She points out that while Babuji, as a grandfather, cares for Ansh, Pakhi neglects Ishu despite being her mother. She emphasizes that Babuji looks after the children and Baa chases them around to feed them, but they have been deprived of their roles as great-grandparents. She believes Pakhi was probably sleeping while Baa and Babuji were left in tears.
Devika suggests that elderly people might be happier in old age homes rather than with such a family. Bhavesh agrees, saying they might consider it for themselves one day. Anupama hopes things will improve and that Mr. Shah will realize his mistakes.
Meanwhile, Baa tells Babuji that they can’t die yet as Dimpy and Titu’s wedding is approaching; they can’t let happiness turn into mourning. Babuji asks if they should leave the house. Baa suggests they might, after Dimpy’s wedding, as Titu will need more space. She turns off the lights and urges him to sleep, but Babuji silently weeps.
Anuj calls Anupama to check in and mentions that Dimpy has told him everything. Anupama reassures him that everything is fine for now and advises him not to worry. When Anuj suggests she should get some sleep, Anupama confides that she can’t. He offers to come over, firmly stating he won’t apologize for it.
Meanwhile, Baa wakes up and realizes she forgot to tie the gota on Dimpy’s dupatta because of Ishu’s incident. She laments that Pakhi was upset today and worries about tomorrow. Babu ji suggests Dimpy would have been upset too. Baa asks for his help, noting that Vanraj is caught between them and his children.
Anupama inquires about Rahul, and Anuj replies that he has spoken to him. Anuj then asks who will handle the catering for the wedding since Gulati left. Anupama admits they haven’t found a caterer yet. Anuj suggests she could cook, but Anupama declines, saying Mr. Shah will handle it. Anuj wonders if she is afraid to cook.
Baa tells Babu ji to be careful with the tea cup and worries about whether the children had their milk. Ansh, Mahi, and Pari come in, asking for milk, roti, and a game of cricket. Baa and Babu ji get up, but sit back down, haunted by past accusations. Kavya, Kinjal, and Dimpy ask Baa for help in the kitchen, but she remains silent. Ishu hugs Babu ji, who blesses her.
Kavya emphasizes the importance of Baa’s blessings. Ishani requests masala milk, and Baa agrees to make it. Pakhi arrives, angrily forbidding Ishani from asking anyone for help and insists on doing everything for her.
When Ishani says she asks Dimpy Mami when Pakhi doesn’t help, Pakhi tries to drag her away. Kinjal intervenes, questioning Pakhi’s actions. Pakhi retorts, telling Kinjal to enjoy her short visit. Ishu declares Pakhi a bad mother, prompting Pakhi to threaten her with a slap. Adhik arrives, warning Pakhi not to touch their daughter. Ishu runs to him, calling out “Papa,” and Adhik comforts her.
Devika and Anupama leave the market with vegetables. Devika asks if Anupama will cook, but Anupama says they’ll hire a chef or caterer. Devika questions if Anupama is afraid of cooking. Anupama admits she is.
Devika reassures her, reminding her that she is Annapurna and that making mistakes is part of life. She compares it to dancing and encourages Anupama to regain her confidence. Anupama decides to take a coconut for Babu ji. Devika notes that Anupama’s confidence has been shaken but believes everything will be fine.
