Anuj reflects on Anupama’s words urging him to leave her, for it would be for the best. A somber melody plays in the background as memories flood his mind. He replays Anupama’s heartfelt confession, penning something on a piece of paper before discarding it in the waste bin.
Meanwhile, Kinjal and Dimpy reassure Baa to remain calm amidst the turmoil. The family gradually returns home, with Toshu bringing Ishu along with the others. Dimpy takes Ishu aside to help her settle for the night.
Anupama attends to Babu ji, offering him water, while Toshu prompts Pakhi to do the same. However, Pakhi erupts, refusing the water vehemently. Babu ji, filled with regret, apologizes profusely, acknowledging his mistake in not checking the medicine properly before administering it.
Pakhi, though, remains unforgiving, expressing her anguish over the potential harm to her daughter. She refuses to overlook Babu ji’s oversight, blaming him for the distressing situation. Anupama signals to Vanraj, but he remains silent, unable to intervene.
Pakhi’s tirade continues, chastising Babu ji for his age-induced negligence and his tendency to interfere in matters beyond his purview. She highlights the importance of responsibility and accountability, particularly in matters concerning the well-being of their loved ones. Despite Vanraj’s attempt to defuse the situation, Pakhi persists, emphasizing the gravity of the situation and her role as a concerned mother.
Kinjal interjects, acknowledging Pakhi’s maternal instincts while silently lamenting the situation’s strain on familial harmony. Vanraj, too, acknowledges the gravity of the situation, urging Pakhi to refrain from further insults directed at Babu ji.
He reassures Baa and Babu ji that the mothers will handle the children and vows to address the issue internally. With a plea for everyone to rest, Vanraj attempts to restore peace within the household, albeit with a heavy heart.
Anupama confronts Vanraj
Anupama confronts Vanraj, questioning what he’s saying and pointing out that both past and present actions are wrong. She emphasizes that when he makes mistakes, he expects forgiveness, but Babuji, who made an unintentional mistake, is not granted the same leniency.
Vanraj retorts that Ishani could have died. Babuji, overwhelmed with guilt, folds his hands and cries. Anupama reminds Vanraj of how Baa and Babuji always took care of their children, even when they were busy with work. She says they are like gods to him, and he should see Babuji’s guilt. Vanraj insists he has resolved the issue, but Anupama doubts his sincerity.
She then asks Pakhi why she didn’t give medicine to her daughter. Kavya accuses Pakhi of prioritizing her sleep over her daughter’s health, angering Anupama. Dimpy explains that Ishu cried silently to avoid disturbing anyone. Kinjal points out that Ansh, Mahi, and Pari woke up, but Pakhi slept through it.
Anupama warns Pakhi that if Ishu ended up in the hospital, it would be her fault. Pakhi defensively asks if everyone is done lecturing her and accuses Vanraj of making a one-sided decision. Vanraj yells, telling Baa and Babuji to stay out of it and instructs Pakhi to take care of Ishu herself. He also tells Anupama not to interfere in his household matters and orders Babuji to rest.
Baa and Babuji’s Despair
Baa and Babuji cry, feeling like burdens. Babuji blames himself, worrying about his medication expenses, and tells Baa to cut her expenses. Baa agrees, saying they should stay in their rooms to avoid being burdens. They go to their room, and Anupama is heartbroken by their despair. Babuji, feeling hopeless, tries to take a handful of pills, but Baa stops him, saying they will face everything together.
Anupama and Vanraj’s Argument
Anupama approaches Vanraj, urging him to check on Baa and Babuji because they need him. Vanraj, defensive, says they are his parents, and he doesn’t need her advice. He asks where she was for the past five years. Anupama points out that Pakhi was insulting Babuji, and Vanraj didn’t stop her. Vanraj says he understands Pakhi’s fear as a mother.
Anupama suggests that Ishu should stay with Adhik, who would take better care of her, and warns Vanraj not to give Pakhi too much liberty. She says if Pakhi can’t take care of her child, she should give custody to Adhik. Pakhi overhears this conversation.
